Welcome to FNBC Bank & Trust!
We are a locally owned, full-service community bank with a 100-year history of providing financial services, support and leadership to clients and communities throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
We have seen many changes in banking over the years, including a couple of changes in our own bank name, but our roots as an independent community bank always bring us back to our primary goals of:
- Providing exceptional service
- Offering innovative business solutions through advancing financial technologies
- Investing directly in our local communities
Two Vibrant Histories — One Bright Future
You may be familiar with us as First National Bank of LaGrange. We changed our name to FNBC Bank & Trust several years ago, but we have been a mainstay of the LaGrange area since the early 1920s. Our main office still stands at the corner of Burlington and Stone Avenues, across from the historic Stone Avenue train station.
The Bank’s holding company, F.N.B.C. of LaGrange, was established in 1967. During the past 30 years, F.N.B.C. of LaGrange acquired West Chicago State Bank and other local banks. We merged those banks under the name of State Bank of Illinois. Separately, FNBLG and SBI grew from small, local banking institutions to strong financial fixtures serving the people and businesses in their communities.
In 2014, both banks were joined under the name of FNBC Bank & Trust.
Today, FNBC Bank & Trust maintains offices in LaGrange, Western Springs, and West Chicago. We remain independent, locally owned, and locally managed. We continue to provide the expertise you trust, while making the most of our financial and technology resources to find innovative solutions for your banking needs.
