Angela Burton

Vice President & Trust Officer

Angela Pacheco Burton is a Vice President and Trust Officer with FNBC Bank & Trust. She brings over 25 years of experience in banking and wealth management. Angela takes great pride in establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with her clients and their advisors.

Before joining FNBC, she was a Private Wealth Senior Trust Officer at US Bank, N.A. PWM. Prior to that, Angela worked in trust administration and client relationship management at Wintrust Wealth Management for 19 years. Angela’s areas of expertise include client servicing, relationship management, trust estate, SNT administration, guardianship administration, and business development. She is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School.

Angela has a tremendous amount of passion for the work that she does as a financial caretaker and advocate for her clients. Angela is a member of the DuPage Estate Planning Council.

 

Emma Sheehan

Executive Vice President & Chief Trust Officer

Emma Sheehan serves as a Executive Vice President & Chief Trust Officer for the Trust Department. Emma has almost 20 years of experience working in the trust and wealth management industry. Prior to joining FNBC Bank & Trust Wealth Management, she managed the operations department, institutional department, and trust department as a member of the executive team at Covenant Trust Company.  Emma initially honed her trust and wealth management skills as a Trust Officer at Northern Trust, and developed a strong compliance background as a Trust Company Supervisor for a private trust company.

Emma attended St. Xavier University in Chicago where she attained a BS in Psychology and an MBA with a concentration in Financial Planning. She takes her fiduciary responsibilities seriously, and is always working in the best interests of her clients.

Jake Ahrens

Investment Associate

Jake Ahrens joined the FNBC Bank & Trust Wealth Management team as a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His area of expertise is helping clients achieve their financial goals through effective planning and strategizing. In his current role as Investment Associate, Jake manages the investment portfolios for wealth management clients, which includes financial planning, making trades, allocating portfolios correctly, and researching market trends and updates.

Jake became a fully licensed financial advisor prior to graduating from the University of Illinois in May of 2022. During that time, he worked as an advisor for an independent firm of Raymond James where he held his own book of business. While attending the University of Illinois, Jake achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Consumer Economics with a concentration in financial planning, and he maintains credentials in securities sales and financial advising.

Jessica Jurevis

Vice President & Trust Officer

Jessica Jurevis joins FNBC Bank & Trust as Vice President & Trust Officer after enjoying her legal career as an Associate Attorney with Kash Law Offices, LLC, and, most recently, with DDV Law, Ltd. Her practice focused on adult guardianships, estate and trust administration, and Medicaid applications and appeals, which make her an excellent addition to our Trust and Wealth Management team.

She received her law degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, and her bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Hailing from the Garfield Ridge neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side, Jessica knows that it’s the people within the community that make it strong. She is excited to incorporate her previous legal experience into her new role as Trust Officer, and to serve the people that make up the FNBC Bank & Trust community.

Jennifer Petersen

Vice President Trust Operations

Jennifer worked in Trust Operations for eight years before joining FNBC in 2022. She has an excellent perspective on the client experience as she worked closely with institutional clients on both the operational side of wealth management and as a relationship manager. During that time, Jennifer also managed a team of Trust Operations employees.

Jennifer’s extensive experience with securities operations, private equity investment administration, investment accounting, fund unitization, custody recordkeeping, and relationship management makes her the ideal manager of FNBC’s Trust Operations department. In her current role, she oversees daily operational processes and ensures compliance with industry and legal standards.

Jennifer graduated from North Park University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and is Licensed in Secondary Education.

Karen Bellovich

Trust Associate

Karen Bellovich joined our Wealth Management team as a Trust Associate in 2022. She provides administrative, accounts payable, and operations support to the Wealth Management team. Prior to joining FNBC, Karen worked in the non-profit sector and retail/client services industry. She attended Columbia College in Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Lenore McCarter

Wealth Management Business Process Specialist

Lenore McCarter joined the Wealth Management team 2015, though her career at FNBC started in 2004. In her role as Business Process Specialist, Lenore relies on her operational knowledge and analytical skills to ensure that all Wealth Management operations conform to legal and corporate compliance requirements. Lenore is also engaged with the redesign of business processes to streamline operational functions within the Wealth Management division. In addition, she coordinates Wealth Management operations with other units of business within FNBC Bank & Trust.

Lenore graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and attained a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She is also a proud graduate of Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park.

Mable Julien

Assistant Vice President Trust Operations

Mable brings 30 years of Trust operations experience to the Wealth Management team. As Assistant Vice President in Trust Operations, Mable demonstrates her understanding of investments, payment systems, accounting, office administration, and general Trust operations in all aspects of her work. She is responsible for the research and processing of corporate actions, such as cash, stock and optional dividends, stock splits, etc. She is also responsible for Common Trust Fund evaluation and Unique Asset Reviews, and she provides general support to the operations team as needed.

Prior to joining FNBC Bank & Trust in 2014, Mable worked at Park National Bank. She attended South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois, where she attained an Associate in Applied Science degree in Accounting.

Michael G. O'Reilly

Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager

Michael G. O’Reilly has served wealth management clients at FNBC Bank & Trust since 1999.

Michael is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the DuPage County Estate Planning Council, where he formally served as President and board member.  He earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame (1980) and his JD from the University of Notre Dame Law School (1983). Additionally, he successfully completed the Certified Financial Planner program from the College of Financial Planning (1986).

Scott Howard

Senior Vice President & Trust Officer

Scott brings almost 30 years of wealth management experience to his role as Senior Vice President & Trust Officer at FNBC Bank & Trust. Prior to joining FNBC in 2023, Scott worked in personal financial services and trust administration for US Bank, Covenant Bank, and Northern Trust Bank. In his current role with our Wealth Management team, Scott is responsible for client relationship management and administration of trust and investment accounts.

Scott is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where he achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Illinois Tech Stuart School of Business.
